  3. Cook until onions are translucent and okra is soft. (There's nothing worse than realizing that the last okra you threw out wasn't cooked)
  4. Simmer over low heat until all vegetables are ready. Taste then season.
  5. Note: I use a slow cooker and cook until dinner. Serve with cornbread, baby pups, and/or rice.
